Terms and Conditions for Financial Transactions
These Terms and Conditions supplement the Financial Regulations for Dealing with Clients:
First stage : registration fees
First: If the applicant is from within Egypt:
The student pays the announced registration fees. If he fails the medical examination, 75% of the registration fees will be refunded to the student.
Second: If he passes the medical examination, the amount will be fully non-refundable.
This amount is for registration fees:
- Student medical examination
- Visa issuance
- Student medical insurance for one year (student category)
- Postponement of conscription (if applicable)
- Uniform consists of (pilot suit – 2 shirts – 3 splits – pilot wing)
- English language placement test
Second: If the applicant is from outside Egypt :
The student pays the registration fees from abroad only for:
- Acceptance letter
- Medical insurance for one year (student category)
- Uniform and consists of:
(Pilot suit – 2 pilot shirts – 3 splits – pilot wing)
4- Note: Medical examination and visa are the student’s responsibility.
The second stage: after issuing the visa
It is divided into two cases:
Cash status:
The student must pay the full tuition fee at least one month before travel upon signing the contract.
Second: Installment status:
The study cost is in cash plus 7.5%, to be paid as follows:
Half of the total amount is paid upon signing the contract before travel, or in two installments before travel, then following one of the announced installment systems.
First: Regarding the academic programs that do not accept the installment system:
Instructor rate, Type Rating PPL, : Payment for these programs is only made in cash.
Fines clause
First: – In the event of late payment within the agreed upon dates in the contract between the student or his guardian for a maximum period of 10 days, 5% of the required amount will be collected as a late payment penalty for each month of delay.
Second: In the event of stopping payment for two installments
- Suspend the student’s studies
- Deport him to his country and cancel his study visa
- He is not entitled to receive a “log book” or any documents related to his studies.
- Take legal action against bank checks signed by the student’s guardian.
** If this happens, the student or his guardian has no right to demand from Sky Team Training or its management any sums of money paid or to demand any amount as compensation.
Terms and Conditions of Cancellation and Refund Policy
Firstly:
In case of cancellation request before travel
If the second party, the “student,” wishes to terminate the contract before travel, $4,000 (four thousand US dollars only) will be deducted and the remaining amount paid from the contract value will be returned.
secondly:
In case of cancellation request after travel and before the start of studies.
In the event that the second party (the student) wishes to terminate the contract after travel and before the start of studies for any reason not related to the academy, the PPL value of $18,000 will be fully deducted and the remaining amount paid will be refunded 30 days after the date of submitting the request to cancel the study contract.
Third:
After contracting, in the event that the CPL study cost is paid in cash and the study begins
If the student wishes to terminate the contract, they are entitled to a refund of only the CPL fee, excluding the PPL fee of $18,000, plus a cancellation penalty of 10% of the total tuition fee . The remaining amount will be refunded within 30 days of the tuition modification request.
Fourth:
After contracting, in case of paying the cost of studying CPL in installments
In the event that the student wishes to terminate the contract and the total amount paid is less than the value of the PPL, he must complete the value of the PPL, which is 18 thousand US dollars, within 30 days of the request to terminate the contract, along with paying the cancellation penalty value, which is estimated at 10% of the total cost of the study. Otherwise, he will be considered dismissed and will not have the right to claim anything he paid.
Fifth:
After contracting, if he wishes to amend the CPL contract to study PPL only
The student must report this desire at least one month before the end of the PPL study and exam, and a modification penalty of 10% of the total study amount will be applied. The remaining amount, excluding the PPL value, of $18,000, will be refunded after deducting the penalty, in the same manner in which the installments were made and with the same collection period, 30 days after the study modification request.
- * Refunds will be made in the same currency in which payment was made, unless this violates the laws issued regarding foreign currency trading in Egypt. The refund will be made at the same exchange rate on the day of payment at the Academy.
- *Refunds will be made within 30 days from the date of submitting the request to cancel the study contract.
- The second party must officially notify the first party of its desire to amend the contract before the first 35 hours of flight time, otherwise the amounts will be non-refundable.
- The maximum duration of study for the CPL is 18 months, and for the PPL, 6 months from the start date of the study. If the student does not complete the scheduled study within this period, 3% of the total study cost will be calculated monthly to cover all increases that may arise from increased fuel prices, any price increases, or any potential tax increases during that period. The study will not be completed without paying the additional fees that were increased.
- If a student fails to make the required progress in his studies due to negligence, laziness, or any reasons not related to the company for a period of one year from the date of commencement of his studies, he will be dismissed without any financial refund, and he will not have the right to seek financial compensation from the company.
Force majeure and natural disasters
- Neither party shall bear any responsibility for what is caused by force majeure and natural disasters ( forced closure of the state, war, revolution, unrest, mobilization, strike, riot, natural disasters, fires, floods, earthquakes, isolation, quarantine).
- If the relevant force majeure prevails for a continuous period of more than twenty-one (21) days, all obligations of both parties shall be postponed until the end of the natural disasters and the return of life to normal.
