Who can apply

A short readiness check before the call

If most of these are true, you are in good shape to start the conversation. If you are unsure on any point, that is exactly what the admissions call is for.

Age 17+

You can begin the application process from age 17. Most students are 17 to 30. Older applicants are welcome and reviewed individually.

Basic English

Aviation is taught and operated in English. Conversational level is enough to start.

Aviation Medical

An aviation medical examination is required. Admissions will guide you through the certified medical examiner process.

Education Level

School leavers, post-school students, and university graduates are all welcome.

Travel Readiness

Valid passport (or willingness to apply for one) and openness to studying in South Africa.

Motivation

Pilot training is a serious commitment. We help you understand it, not romanticise it.

Training Location

Your admissions are handled from Cairo.

Our Cairo headquarters handles everything from first enquiry to departure: admissions, documents, eligibility review, and pre-departure orientation. One team, one point of contact.

Air traffic control

Operations are managed under tower control, exposing students to both manned and unmanned procedures from day one.

Still deciding?

Not sure if pilot training is right for you?

That is normal at this stage. The admissions call is for figuring it out, not for selling you a program. If aviation is not the right path for your situation, we will tell you that too.

Frequently asked

Common questions before the call

I have no aviation experience. Can I still apply?

Yes. Most applicants start with no prior flight hours. The PPL pathway is designed for that exact situation: ground school first, then progressive flight training.

Where does the actual flight training happen?

At our South Africa training base within a specialised aviation training environment. Cairo HQ remains your point of contact for admissions, documents, and pre-departure orientation. Full address details are shared with you after admissions review.

What is the difference between PPL and CPL?

PPL (Private Pilot License) is the first license. You fly recreationally and as PIC, but not for hire. CPL (Commercial Pilot License) lets you fly professionally. Most students earn PPL first, then continue to CPL with additional hours and exams.

Can students from the Gulf apply?

Yes. We work with applicants across Egypt and the Gulf (KSA, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman). Admissions handles travel-readiness questions on the call.

How long does training take?

It depends on the pathway, your pace, and weather availability. Admissions will give you a realistic timeline for the specific license you want.

Do I need to commit before speaking with admissions?

No. The first call is informational. We do not ask for documents, payment, or commitments at the enquiry stage.

Next step

Ready to speak with someone who will give you a direct answer?

One admissions call. No commitment. We explain your options and what is realistic for your situation.
