Built to international aviation standards
SkyTeam Aviation Academy was founded in Egypt in 2016 to provide world-class aviation education for aspiring pilots. Our administrative office is in Cairo, and our flight training is delivered in South Africa within a specialised aviation training environment.
We collaborate with top international aviation schools to maintain the highest curriculum standards. This partnership supports our graduates in earning recognised licences and progressing toward strong professional opportunities.
A clear progression from your first license through commercial flying and airline preparation. Admissions will recommend the program that fits your goal and timeline.
If most of these are true, you are in good shape to start the conversation. If you are unsure on any point, that is exactly what the admissions call is for.
You can begin the application process from age 17. Most students are 17 to 30. Older applicants are welcome and reviewed individually.
Aviation is taught and operated in English. Conversational level is enough to start.
An aviation medical examination is required. Admissions will guide you through the certified medical examiner process.
School leavers, post-school students, and university graduates are all welcome.
Valid passport (or willingness to apply for one) and openness to studying in South Africa.
Pilot training is a serious commitment. We help you understand it, not romanticise it.
Our Cairo headquarters handles everything from first enquiry to departure: admissions, documents, eligibility review, and pre-departure orientation. One team, one point of contact.
Admissions, support, documents, communication.
A simple six-step path. The admissions call is step two: early, low-pressure, and the fastest way to know if SkyTeam fits.
Tell us your goal and timeline. No documents needed yet.
We explain pathways, costs at a high level, and what to expect.
Age, education, English level, medical readiness, travel readiness.
Passport, medical, educational records, prepared with our guidance.
Arrive at our South Africa training base. Ground school, dual flight, navigation, exams.
Continue toward CPL, ratings, and your professional aviation career.
Our exam centre is accredited by the South African Civil Aviation Authority, giving students the convenience of writing exams on site.
Our fleet of Cessna 172 and PA-28 single-engine aircraft, plus the BE-55 multi-engine, ensures students gain a comprehensive aircraft experience.
A no-compromise policy on quality and safety. All maintenance is managed by our own AMO inside the main hangar.
A modern FNPT II tru-flight simulator and well-equipped classrooms accommodate group teaching and one-on-one sessions without compromise.
Our instructor team works under the supervision of a Grade I CFI with a full-time Designated Flight Examiner on staff.
Operations are managed under tower control, exposing students to both manned and unmanned procedures from day one.
That is normal at this stage. The admissions call is for figuring it out, not for selling you a program. If aviation is not the right path for your situation, we will tell you that too.
