A direct overview of age, language, medical, education and travel readiness, before you commit to anything. We screen for fit, not for volume.
Good to know: the current programme cost is USD 46,000, plus a USD 2,000 admission fee.
If most of these apply to you, you are in good shape to start the conversation. If you are unsure on any point, the admissions call is for that.
Age 17 to 30. You can begin the application from age 17.
Thanaweya Amma, Azhari secondary, IGCSE, American Diploma, IB or any four-year bachelor's degree, from any stream. A pass grade is enough: no minimum total, no GPA, and no SAT, EST or ACT.
All theory lectures are taught in English, so you need level B2 (about ICAO Level 4). If you are below that level, an English course is provided before you travel.
Class II is sufficient for the PPL and the Night Rating. The Instrument Rating, the Multi-Engine Rating, the CPL and everything beyond require Class I. Medical rules vary — confirm with the authority or a designated aviation medical examiner.
Two passport-sized photographs and basic identification.
Valid passport, or willingness to apply for one before training begins.
The eight PPL written exams are sat during training, not before you apply; 25 hours of ground school prepare you for them.
Flight training is delivered by an approved partner school in South Africa under SACAA; SkyTeam handles admissions, documents, and support from Cairo.
Most applicants start at zero hours. The pathway is built for that.
Education uncertainty, document gaps, medical worries, timeline questions. The admissions call is built to answer them. If you are not a fit, we tell you that too.
